Sabrina McKenzie is the mother of three beautiful children
Anandi, Khidhar and Imani Joi. She is a trained dancer with
20 years of experience, that includes dancing for various
artists in the music industry.
Mrs. McKenzie trained at St. Benedict School of Dance
in New York City and has danced with Springfield Academy,
Wings of Faith dance team and Born Again Dance Ministry.
This Morris Brown College graduate is formerly the
choreographer for the Gospel Heritage Foundation dance
ministry segment. For 10 years she directed and served
“New Birth Liturgical Dance Ministry" under the leadership
of Bishop Eddie L. Long, Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary
Baptist Church overseeing 150 dancers and several dance
ministries which include Praise & Worship, Born Again,
(Men) Lamb Of God Worshipers, and the Children’s dance
ministry.
As a professional dancer, Sabrina's dance and choreography
repertoire includes choreography for the Gospel Heritage
Conference, Dottie Peoples Live video, Gospel Dream
which aired on BET, NBA All Star weekend and the
Evander Holyfield heavyweight championship. Additionally,
Sabrina was featured as a solo rap artist on Bishop Eddie L.
Long’s CD release titled “Those Who Are Not Prepared Will
Not Survive.”
Currently, Mrs. McKenzie faithfully serves as dance ministry
leader at Triumph Church in Detroit, Michigan under the
leadership of Pastor Solomon Kinloch. She is also a pursuing a
Master's Degree in Divinity (M.Div) at the Interdenominational
Theological Center, where she serves the Junior class by
overseeing the political action committee and the ITC liturgical
dance ministry, Praise In Motion. Her most recent accomplish-
ment includes completing training as a Ambassador Of
Economic Development for South Dekalb County.
As God continues to give vision to Mrs. McKenzie, she continues
to direct the Dancing Preachers International Conference,
Dance Nia Ministry, The Revelations Ballet and the
International Dance Commission (IDC). She is a renowned
author of two books, "Dance With A Purpose" and her new
release, "Saul's Armor Doesn't Fit." Her desire is to unify arts
ministries to bring all the gifts of the body together to Glorify
our God.
